Join the School of the Arts for the only collaborative performance between the Departments of Theatre, Music, Dance, and Art & Design this year! Arthur Miller’s theatre masterpiece, The Crucible, has spoken to the crushing pressure of political and personal ideologies for nearly 75 years. The play follows the chaos let loose on a community during a rash of witchcraft accusations. In this production, the familiar story is deepened with the addition of ten dancers representing the inner lives of the women of Salem.

Halloween in Utah is about to have a big glow-up thanks to the Outlets at Traverse Mountain! Introducing Big Jack’s World, the largest known pumpkin display of its kind, open now through the end of October. The FREE activity promises to be a must-see Halloween tradition for families across the state with spectacular pumpkin displays, interactive fall games, incredible backdrops for Instagram and TikTok, festive music, and wholesome fun 7-days a week! The no-cost “Big Jack’s World” immersive Halloween experience includes: 20-foot-tall Halloween monarch named Big Jack; Zoo Hollow with pumpkin-inspired zoo animals; the Carving House featuring Gourdwin the Master Carver; The Patch cemetery with headstones featuring cheeky epitaphs; The Pumpkin Head’s Scarecrow Band; the Pumpkin Spice River featuring Cinna and Nutmeg, twin witches, brewing up life’s potion; several curated gardens with bees and bugs flying amongst pumpkin carved flowers, mushrooms and plants, along with a group of mischievous hobbits. Kids will be able to play “Spot the Hobbit”, a map adventure game, throughout the festive display. What better way to enjoy the changing season than by visiting the Barn for a wagon ride to the Back Forty. Our wagons take you on an enjoyable tractor-pulled ride through our fruit farm on the way to all of the fun. The Back Forty includes a seven-acre corn maze, a pumpkin patch and a large grass play area where you will find tractor merry-go-round, giant slides, apple cannons, a corn pit, jumping pillows, cable runners, tractor train, petting zoo, firepits, and many photo opportunities. The Back Forty has acres of pumpkins for you to wander though in search of the perfect pumpkin for your jack-o-lantern.
