OUR TEAM GIVES BACK A big part of our culture at Ashley Jensen & Associates is to give back to our community, both with our funds and time. There are so many great organizations in Utah. Here are a few that we support and have been a part of: Ashley is on the Food & Care Coalition‘s board, Utah County’s homeless shelter. She helps consult with their 110 housing units and also does their marketing for them. Additionally, she volunteers about once a month in their kitchen serving food.  “Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has.” – Margaret Mead Ashley also just finished a year volunteering at The Refuge, Utah County’s shelter for women and children that have encountered domestic abuse. She helped watch children at the shelter, drove women to appointments and helped residents look for jobs. Elizabeth just coordinated a huge Sub 4 Santa enterprise through Centro Hispano, making it possible for 40 families to have Christmas this year! She also made sure 20 Kindergarten students had all the supplies and backpacks they needed for the school year. She actively volunteers on the PTA arranging for the teacher luncheons. Leah has been very busy with volunteer work, including managing the Millennial Choirs and Orchestras, which is a non-profit children’s choir group. She also volunteered at Covington Senior Living in Lehi and did countless service hours at her kids schools and church.  “Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has.” – Margaret Mead Janiece did volunteer work with Lifting Hands International, and volunteered at Tabitha’s Way Food Pantry. She has also actively worked on the marketing for the Food & Care Coalition.  “You must be the change you wish to see in the world.” – Mahatma Gandhi Debbie takes part in community organized activities like Canyon clean up in Hobble Creek Canyon where she lives. She also helped organize supplies, with a group in her area, to take to Kenya for new mothers there. In addition, she is involved at Springville High School, and supports the Tabitha’s Way Charity.  “The purpose of life is not to be happy, but to matter- to be productive, to be useful, to have it make some difference that you have lived at all.” – Leo Rosten Brooke and Diane are actively involved in both Church and school service.
