Santaquin is generally a newer community in Utah county because about 10 years ago it was made up of farmland. There have been new developments sprouting up with homes that are a good value and priced less than most of Utah County because it is the southernmost town in the county. Santaquin does not have a large commercial district so most residents travel to Payson or Spanish Fork for their needs.
